Certified Green Partners - CGP Certification Process

Certified Green Partners (CGP) has an innovative and integrated approach to encourage sustainability. Our Standards are based on the principles of sustainability, eco-friendly and cost effectiveness as detailed in the CGP Green Economy Guide. CGP’s goals are protecting our forests, diminishing the use of petroleum, recycling paper waste properly and educating our CGP Partners, their staff and customers to live a lifestyle in harmony with nature.

CGP Certification procedure includes:
	• Educating your team to support the company’s new green initiatives.
	• Training your purchasing department how to choose and demand the right products from your vendors. A proper recycling program will be initiated for your paper scraps and other recyclable materials. Implementation will be in position for chain of custody certified and/or 100% recycled paper and the use of vegetable oil-based inks.
	Implementation does not compromise quality or cost
	• CGP will provide an independent third-party verification professional to review the organization’s implementation of the CGP standards. Vigilance will continue for one year and will include continued consultation to keep you updated with new eco-friendly products and services.
	• In the final phase, your company will receive a copy of the CGP Green Economy Guide to assist your organization in taking a leadership position toward meeting the growing environmental requirements. Easy to understand topics with instructions and formulas to assist you in your transition for a greener lifestyle will include: Energy, Heating & A/C, Water Conservation, Printing & Certified Paper, How to Mix Chemical-free Cleaners, Pest Management, Site & Landscaping, Transportation, Construction & Renovation, Waste & Recycling…and much more. Compliance toward Green initiatives implemented, besides CGP Certification, may result in credits towards the renewal certification.
